Recurring problems can be diagnosed accurately and the appropriate course of action easily is determined for rectification. During a House purchase survey quite often a Surveyor will specify that a CCTV drain survey is carried out as part of his report. What is involved? Quite simply, a miniature CCTV Camera is inserted into the drain and threaded through as far as is required, giving an internal view that is of a very high quality. The image produced may be recorded for analysis and to help to explain the diagnosis to the customer. Extra data, such as total distance travelled into the drain by the camera can also be displayed and logged. Still photos can be used to provide further reports if required.
